The companies
The list comes from Google Maps searches for "foundation repair" in every state (July 2026). Of 3,060 results we publish 2,632. 5 were the same company listed twice and are shown once; 349 were other trades (roofing, plumbing, auto repair and similar) with no foundation, waterproofing or concrete work in their name or website; 74 had no phone or website, or a website we couldn't read to confirm foundation work. They are not shown.
Companies without a shop front (service-area businesses) have no public street address on Google Maps. 831 listings are like this: we mark them as service-area companies and never invent an address.
The services
In October 2026 we read each company's website (home page and up to three inner pages). 2057 websites could be read, 175 were down, parked or now belong to someone else (we removed those links) and 111 blocked automatic reading. When a website names a repair, a free inspection, a warranty or financing we quote the sentence and link to the page. When there's no website, typical services are assigned from the type of company and labeled as our assumption.
What we don't do
- No invented reviews, star ratings, "verified" badges or quality scores. A Google rating is shown only with five or more reviews and labeled as Google data.
- No paid placements: order depends on the type of company and how much it tells about itself.
- No engineering advice: our guides help you ask better questions; only an inspection can say what is happening to your house.
The costs
Price ranges come from public U.S. cost guides, mainly HomeGuide and This Old House (checked October 2026). State figures apply each state's price level from the BEA Regional Price Parities (2023), damped to 60%. See the table by state.
